Aaron oversees communications for several of Google's core consumer products in Canada. He is a frequent commentator on Google Trends and has traveled extensively in Canada's north as the project manager behind Google's arctic mapping efforts. Aaron is a passionate advocate of STEM, managing several of Google Canada's outreach initiatives. Before joining Google, Aaron worked as a journalist and writer. In 2002, he was part of the team at CBC who created the national current affairs program The Current, and went on to serve as Documentary Producer and Assignment Editor. He has earned a number of national and international distinctions for his documentary work, including the 2011 Amnesty International Media Award. As an occasional TV writer, Aaron has developed dramatic series for CBC and CTV, and was a writer for the CTV/CBS series Flashpoint.
